We are deeply committed to our children

At CLF, we believe that children need to touch the exciting elements of Christian life in ways they can understand. In Children’s Church, children learn the values and stories of the Bible through drama, video, live worship, Bible adventures and Super Sundays which consist of group activities and fun.

Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or sitting around the kitchen table, daily we take every opportunity to build stronger and deeper relationships with the children God has entrusted to us.

We believe that it is our responsibility to help mold our children’s characters, shape their hearts, and prepare them for their destinies so they too may tell another generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, of His power, and of the wonders He has done (Psalm 145:5).

We know that the next pastors, apostles, teachers, congressmen, engineers, scientists, writers, and others will pass through our classrooms and will be shaped by the influence of our lives. This reality drives us to seek God for His blueprint on how to build a church that can effectively disciple our children and prepare them for their life in the Kingdom of God and the world of tomorrow.

We provide Bible-centered activities for all ages.

On Sunday, children are invited to K.I.C.K. (Kids in Christ's Kingdom). Designed for children grades 1-6, Kingdom truths are presented in an atmosphere of love, fun, and faith. Little ones in kindergarten and under learn Bible truths designed just for their little needs in our Sprouts programs.

During adult teaching every second and fourth Wednesday, CLF also opens "The Studio" for kids in grades 1-6. Children learn to express their love for God through the arts -- drama, music, dance, and art.

Let the little children come to me [Jesus], and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
— Mark 10:14
