1985-1998 Mama Flo prayed for years for God to establish a church in her home town of Raleigh, NC that resembled what she read in the book of Acts: a church full of God's presence, real friendships, healthy families, supernatural works, discipleship, legacy and leaders working as a true team to lead and govern.

1988 Flo's son, Paul Kidd, received Jesus in a drug bust in South Carolina. Paul went on to serve 2 1/2 years in a prison in South Carolina and was released as he served and grew under the leadership of Fathers in the Faith.

February 1998 God spoke to Pastor Paul about planting a church in Raleigh that would be a church that would touch our own local community with the  gospel of Jesus Christ and serve as an apostolic base for many church plants.

April 1999 Paul and Kimberly Kidd launched Christian Life Fellowship (CLF) via Saturday night services meeting in a daycare in Cary, NC.

August 2001 CLF established Christian Life Academy, a school for the local church purposed to educate the mind, build character and edify the spirit in students K-12.

August 2003 CLF initiated R.I.O.T. (Real Invasion of Truth), a North Carolina State University campus ministry - reaching, relating to and discipling campus students of all nationalities.

Mothers Day 2004 Mama Flo goes on to be with her Lord.

2005 God opened the door to Mexico as CLF began ministering, serving, and building relationships with churches in that country.

2007 God opened up doors through Salt and Light, an international family of churches, to England, Sweden, Denmark and Africa as local members traveled to and fro ministering, building relationships and serving in these regions.

September 2012 God spoke to CLF about opening its local doors to the Hispanic community in Raleigh. CLF began translating all worship and preaching into Spanish with interpreters. A bilingual home group was created to develop rich relationships and pastoral care.

January 2013 The foundation of Family, Legacy, Worship, Kingdom of God, Relationships, Leadership Development and Discipleship was established. God spoke to CLF leaders about Evangelism and the church obediently began initiatives to reach the lost.

March 2014 Pastor Scott Woodard, a local elder, was set in as CLF's local pastor as Pastor Paul Kidd began working into the surrounding region and nations.

June 2014 CLF sent out Rich and Janet Markeson to plant a church in Tucson, Arizona, a long-time vision of CLF and its family of churches in the US.
