As followers of Jesus, we are called to serve one another – both in the church and outside of it. God has made each of us uniquely and we each have different gifts with which we can bless one another. We find our purpose and develop our gifts as we lay down our lives for others.

At CLF, we value family first and then the gifts Jesus has place in our lives through the Holy Spirit to serve one another. Why this order? Because one cannot truly serve what he or she does not truly love. As men and women join their lives to one another, there are many ways to get involved and find places to serve. From greeting guests as they visit on Sundays, to serving the community, or special ministry groups and departments, the family always has room to be served by family.  Prior to serving, we will want to discuss with you where the best fit for you might be based on your growth, gifting and availability.

For more information on serving the community or other countries, check out the Outreach and Missions pages.

Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
