Before the Service
Coffee & Pre-Service Prayer
Join us at 9:45 AM before the service for a cup of coffee in the lobby. We value relationships at Christian Life Fellowship, and we want to get to know you! You are also welcome to come for pre-service prayer in the main sanctuary where we pray for the service. It is always a refreshing time when we meet with God. We end both of these at 10:20 as we begin the Sunday service at 10:30 AM.
During the Service
During our services, worship can take many forms. Sometimes our services are structured and other times spontaneous. Sometimes it is expressive and other times it is reserved. Sometimes there is an explosive celebration of praise and other times there is a quiet reverence.
Our worship services consist of live musical worship, and each person is encouraged to participate in the worship of Jesus in a manner that is personal yet appropriate for a corporate gathering.
Announcements, Tithes & Offering, and Arts Ministry
The announcements, tithes and offering, and any special art displays are done either between worship and the sermon or after the sermon depending on the service. This time is an opportunity to find out about upcoming events and any new opportunities to get involved. Some Sundays will also feature special art, drama, dance, or music pieces. Tithes and offerings are collected as part of our worship and thanksgiving to God and as a means of support for the church and its mission.
Our local pastor, Scott Woodard, teaches us from the Bible. The topics covered are relevant for today and give us an opportunity to reflect on how we are living our lives based on God’s Word (the Bible). Other elders or guest speakers also may share. For a sample of past sermons, check out the Featured Resources or All Sermons pages.
At CLF, we feel we all carry the responsibility of seeking God’s face. Following the sermon, we usually provide an opportunity to respond to what God may be showing us through the service about our lives. We offer prayer and ministry to those who desire it for physical, emotional, or spiritual needs. God is faithful as we seek Him!
After the Service
Many head to local restaurants or to each other’s houses for lunch. You are always welcome to join a group!
All children, infants through sixth grade, stay with their parents during worship and are dismissed for our different programs during the sermon. Parents are encouraged to go with their kids to check them into the class and to meet the teachers.
Spanish translation is provided live during the service. Ear pieces can be found in a basket near the back-left door of the auditorium (if you are facing the stage). Please ask an usher if you don’t see them or if you need any assistance.
